ArtBarn Presents The Chocolate Milk Cow

St. Croix ArtBarn Theatre will present the award-winning children's musical,
The Chocolate Milk Cow, Fridays and Saturdays, June 19, 20, 26 & 27 at 7 PM
with a special matinee June 27 at 2 PM. Written by local regional
playwrights, Hannah Johnson and Elly Mason Johnson with music by Carrie
Loney, the story is about a cow that takes the country by "storm" after
being struck by lightning and begins producing chocolate milk. The musical
has won state and national awards for its theme of accepting the differences
of others.
The cast includes thirty-six young people from nine St. Croix Valley
communities including: Emma Christensen, Paige Christensen, Clarissa
Cleven, Forrest Cleven, Maegan Crawford, Seth Crawford, Dalton Dodge, Dayton
Dodge, Emma Drury, Amy Foss, Alexis Franzmeier, Grace Holloway, Mikayla
Johnson, Lisa Knefelkamp, Emma Kromer, Tim Kromer, Anna Lindell, Julia
Lindell, Allison McKusick, Clara Marker, Elsa Martin, Olivia Nienaber,
Sophia, Nienaber, Alyssa Pauley, Lauren Pauley, Emily Raffesberger, Janae
Rapp, Joelle Rapp, Laura Rassier, Bethany Schmitz, Clayton Schmitz, Dawson
Schmitz, Brecken Styles, Elise Viebrock, Jenna Viebrock and Caitlin Zajac.

will coincide with the production in the ArtBarn Gallery. In addition,
ArtBarn will begin a raffle with the prize of an original acrylic painting,
"A Night to Remember," a panoramic evening view of the St. Croix River from
the Osceola Bridge, by St. Croix Valley artist, James Wilcox Dimmers; the
drawing will be in October.
